Here's the output of dmesg:
Msftedit 5.41.15.1503;OpenBSD 3.5 (RAMDISKB) #144: Mon Mar 29 13:04:31 MST
2004
deraadt_(_at_)_i386_(_dot_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/RAMDISKB
cpu0: Unknown CPU Type ("AuthenticAMD" 686-class) 2.14 GHz
heh.. You have one of those "unknown CPU type", too.
Mine has a typo:
cpu0: Unknow CPU Type ("AuthenticAMD" 686-class) 1.67 GHz
...
vendor "Adaptec", unknown product 0x285 (class mass storage subclass RAID,
rev 0x01) at pci0 dev 8 function 0 not configured
...
I should note that the dmesg output displayed here was from the floppy,
not the CD. This string: vendor "Adaptec", unknown product 0x285 (class
mass storage subclass RAID, rev 0x01) at pci0 dev 8 function 0 not
configured at least tells me that it sees something there...
"something", yes.
