CURRENT dhclient problems?

Hi all,

the last few days dhclient quits after some hours with the following
error in /var/log/messages

May 12 06:04:03 tesla dhclient[27986]: can't create
/var/db/dhclient.leases.rl1: No such file or directory
May 12 06:04:03 tesla dhclient[27986]: exiting.
May 12 06:04:03 tesla dhclient[13428]: connection closed
May 12 06:04:03 tesla dhclient[13428]: exiting.

The files in /var/db look like:

----------   1 root  wheel     4815 May 10 11:41 dhclient.leases
----------   1 root  wheel      756 May 12 07:19 dhclient.leases.rl1

My CURRENT is current (yesterday).

Anyone familiar with this?

P.S. since dhclient runs as _dhcp, as a precautionary act I've changed
the owner of the /var/db files to _dhcp. Hope that helps.
