Maybe the DARPA cash was a distraction.

Maybe having the first BSD with a (better) journaling filesystem, or
with a dynamically sized fs cache that doesn't suck, would be a good
thing.

Theo is entitled to his opinion.

Having grown up in Canada, I see once again that being misinformed or
even completely ignorant about an issue will never stop Canadians from
pontificating about the USA and of course, claiming the moral high
ground.

Lester Pearson, wimp extraordinaire who undermined the US in Vietnam,

Pierre Trudeau, the only PM to impose martial law and who castrated
the Canadian Constitution (in deference to the NDP, no property
rights), and even worse, gave us Petro-Canada, through to

Jean Chretien, whose son-in-law had secret oil contracts with Saddam
through his stock ownership of a large piece of France's TotalFinaElf,

Canadians have never let their own government's incompetence and
corruption prevent them from laboriously trying to explain to the US
why they are morally superior.

It would be a great piece of Rodney Dangerfield-style comedy, except
they are not joking.
