shared memory?

hi misc,

I am planning to use shared memory in one of my applications (written
in c). is there anything I should know about it (being special on
openbsd) ? I mean, I tried to use posix threads and learned that they
won't do what I want, so I'm afraid this could happen with posix
shared memory as well..

any hint?
