problem with root device

hi, I have a HP LHII server, is a dual PII 300Mhz, I have
a two hard disc scsi of 18gb, and hp netraid with 3 hd of
9gb on raid 5, when I install the obsd 3.4, with floopy disk,
the sd0a was 1 hd of 18gb, but, when i reboot the machine
with the obsd installed, the device sd0 is the netraid...
Im boot with -a, I set the root device to sd1a, and it works,
but, I can set the root device to sd1 forever?
