Hi there,
i just installed OpenBSD 3.4 on an old ibm-system (it's a small pentium). the
installation went well, but i got shocked while i tried to boot the system.
due the kernel displaying information on the floppy device, the speaker of
the pc begins to make a loud and constant sound. this sound doesn't
disappear, even though the system continues booting up like nothing happened
(at least as long as i let the system run, the sound was terribly :-)
did anybody saw this behavior before? what could i do in order to keep the
system silent instead of disconnection the speaker (what would make normals
beeps also disappear).
Thanks and best Regards
Fabian
