Don't missunderstand me but much ports are outdated... and so
useless/senseless.

Damn right.. then reduce the ports/packages to keep the ports/packages
something like up2date.
That are only my 2 cents.. nobody cares so belive in outdated but
"stable" software. Even the hardware dosn't exist anymore.. :o)
