incorrectly named ethernet devices 3.3 - sparc64?

just got to playing with 3.3 - sparc64 (from boot33.iso) sooo much fun...

Anyway I have a Netra120 (v120, sunfire 120 what ever its called this
week...)

With its 2 onboard eri's and a sun quad card (qfe) instsalled... according
to ifconfig -a and dmesg
the interfaces are gem* and hme*? they still work, i can grab ip's and
use the interfaces
but isn't this incorrect nameing? or am I just missing something here?

(on boards are eri based and quad card is qfe based)

ifconfig -a :
