bge driver problem crash machine

Hi,

I come into a problem using ifconfig on bge driver.

While wanting to make the interface down, using ifconfig bge0 down command,
the computer hardware failure indicator come on and like 5 sec. later 
the computer reboot.
On reboot there is no video signal. Must remove power cord to get it back.

System is IBM x335 with adaptec 2110s + Intel (3rd nic) Ethernet card on 
version 3.3 (cd)

Anyone experienced this?
