Sony Clie (PalmOS) USB not working

You'll find the dmesg at the end.

I first tried this under 3.2. It's exactly the same under the
March 17 snapshot. I haven't installed the March 25 snapshot
yet....

The device is a Sony Clie SJ30 with a MemoryStick--a PalmOS
handheld. When synching, the kernel recognizes it as a Handspring
USB device (uvisor), but errors out before anything can
happen. When using the ``MS Import'' application on the handheld
to make the MemoryStick appear as a USB mass storage device, the
kernel sees it as sd0, but any process on OpenBSD that tries to
access the device (fdisk, mount, etc.) will hang until the cable
is disconnected (the rest of the computer remains responsive). The
handheld is also unresponsive until the cable is disconnected.

Synching works perfectly with a serial cable, and the device is
recognized under Windows as a USB disk. A USB camera I also have
works great on OpenBSD as a USB disk.

A bit of Googling reveals other people with the same problem, but
no solutions. sys/dev/usb/usbdevs has entries for the Clie, but
I'm guessing that doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot.

Is anybody working on this? Is there anything I could do to help?

Cheers,

b&
