My name is takesima , a japanese.
I used much time to understand what Thomas and Paladdin said.
WhenI upgrade 3.3-snapshots fron 3.2 ,
I cannot use ' adduser' .
Normaly the next steps is only required .
----------------
# groupadd -g 65 _shadow
# chgrp _shadow /etc/spwd.db
# chmod 0640 /etc/spwd.db
----------------
these are writtein in http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade-minifaq.html#3.2.2 .
===========================================================================
But on one machine , I cannot use ' adduser' yet .
So I do the following **more** procedures ( writteen in " man 1 passwd " ).
-------------------------------------
# fstat /etc/ptmp
USER CMD PID FD MOUNT INUM MODE R/W DV|SZ NAME
acordingly
# mv /etc/ptmp /etc/ptmp-1
------------------------------------
Now I can use ' adduser' on this machine .
Thanks a lot for kindness .
