Swap disk names on boot

Hello gurus :)

is there a way to swap device names on boot? I want to
boot from wd1 from BootEasy (boot>  boot hd1a:/bsd)
but I want wd1 to be recognized as wd0 to avoid
changes in fstab (wd1 is a clone).
