With this new feature, ports aplications must be recompiled to use
the new 'libpthread' by default, if not they'll still keep using the
'libc_r'. Ok that's no problem for me and most of us.
My question is: Do I need to cvs/recompile the X11 tree too? X11 uses
libc_r/libpthread? At what situations should I still keep the
/usr/lib/lib{c_r,npthread}.*. files?
Another question: how is the status of the ports adaption to libpthread?
And aplications like wine would work with this new lib?
Comments are welcome.
Best Regards,
