Thanks, here is an excerpt from dmesg:
real mem = 16363520
avail mem = 11640832
Using 225 buffers containing (900K) of memory.
The machine actually has 916 MB of RAM but does that last line above
mean it's only using 1 MB?
I'm trying the suggestions in the faq now.
