Xfree86 on ThinkPad 770e

Hi all,

I spent hours trying to look for doc and trying some sets
of XF86Config on my  ThinkPad 770E.

Some of you advised me to use Xfree v.3 instead of v.4
I tried so.

The results are :

Xfree 3 : does not work at all
Xfree 4 : works nicely only using 8bits mode, for 16 and 24
          colours are not handled correctly (got strange colours)

question :

Do someone have the same machine with a working XF86Config file?
