Re: inspiron 8200

I installed OpenBSD 3.0 - 3.2 on my Dell Inspiron 8100 with ATI Mobility
Radeon 7500. It works beautifully, was pretty easy to install and upgrade
(get mergemaster if you follow -current), and 3.2-current gives me full
32bit color on my UXGA display (1600x1200).

Subject: inspiron 8200

Hi all,

I would like to buy a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop and I have the possibility
to choose between the following video cards:

Nvidia Geforce 4 (32/64mb)
Ati Mobility Radeon 9000 (64mb)

I had the chance to get information regarding problems on Nvidia Geforce.
Therefor I ask you if there are any problems in installing with ATI radeon
9000, if it's supported.

Is there anybody who uses OpenBSD on this kind of laptop?
If there is, has this person had any problems in installing OpenBSD?

thnks a lot!

Bye!
