current status of AHC driver for 7899G

I have read the archives and noticed even in the i386 hardware list that there seems to be an issue with this card.

I have the adaptec 39160 that uses the 7899G and I want to run 1 single scsi drive PER channel.

What is the status of this driver? (ahc) has it been updated and merged into 3.2 or do I need to grab a snapshot?
