And it mostly depends on the libraries (mostly)...
Don't remove a majorly upgraded libc until you are
sure none of your packages depend on it.
One of the nice things about the FreeBSD pkg_delete
is that I can say "pkg_delete /var/db/pkg/emacs*"
and it will do the right deletion(s).
It's not huge, it's not insurmountable, but it's
a nice detail that I can use file completion or
whatever to get that package deleted. Sort of
a feature request, I guess.
