the low-level stuff of the linux nvidia drivers are binary-only. And they
are, and have been for a long time, buggy as hell and a constant source of
trouble.
Four weeks ago there was no sign that nvidia had seen the light and released
either the source of the linux kernel driver or sufficient specifications to
replace it.
Now, i've heard rumours that there are more graphics adapters on this world,
and some of the companies seem to care ... time to vote with your money.
