ummmm, Theo. How does a proviso saying you can not sue Sun
ensure that the legal industry has work? I would think it would have
the opposite.

And how much difference is there between stating that they do not want
to be sued over their gift, and the BSD License proviso ...
"In no event shall the copyright owner or contributors be liable for ANY
direct, indirect, incidental, special, examplary or consquential damages"?

I am not a lawyer, nor especially anal, so it would be helpful
to use more quantitative descriptions of the problem, as I know I look
to you for your experience and wisdom on the subjects affecting OpenBSD.

Can you break down the actual syntax with which you take issue?
