openssl and sun ecc crypto

By the way,

the new sun ecc crypto issue with patent rules going into the openssl tree,
is pretty much the same situation as we have with Cisco and VRRP.

Cisco says we can put VRRP into OpenBSD, as long as noone who uses the code
in the future sues them.

That's the same thing going on here.

This is utter balony.

Where's the freedom?
