This is, of course, correct. I've always had good luck just
specifing the device and not bothering with specifying bus:id:lun,
though your mileage may vary. You can also specify a speed higher
than your burner supports and cdrecord will default to its highest
supported speed.
And, while we're on the topic of mastering CDs, note than mkisofs,
which has been included with OpenBSD for some time, is no longer
in -CURRENT and will not be shipped with 3.2. Instead, all you
have is mkhybrid (8). It has all the functionality of mkisofs and
more. It's been in the base install for some time, too.
Maybe this note will join the others in the archives for some
prophylactic effect when people start looking for mkisofs....
