Re: trouble with cisco aironet 350

I've have the exact same problem. My card was running fine, till I
upgraded the firmware. I even made a page so people on misc who need
help using ancontrol would have a guide:

http://www.openbsddiary.org/ancontrol.html

Now with firmware version 4.25.30 on a PCI352 card, I get the following
in dmesg for OpenBSD 3.1:

an0 at pci0 dev 13 function 0 "Aironet Cisco/Aironet PCI35x WLAN" rev
0x01: irq 10an0: RID 0xff00 record length mismatch -- expected 130, got
132
: read record failed

...and `ifconfig -a` doesn't show an0.

It doesn't put a \n before the second line for the an0 device error. I
didn't see a note that this was changed in openbsd-current, so my
wireless ad-hoc gateway is broken.

running 3.1 with the generic kernel ... i get this error message when i
insert my cisco aironet 350 card:

"an0 at pcmcia1 function 0 "Cisco Systems, 350 Series Wireless LAN
Adapter"an0: RID 0xff00 record length mismatch -- expected 130, got 132
: read record failed

i combed through the archives and did a few searches on google .. i
couldn't find any solutions to this problem (found a few other people
who
had it but never got replies though). any ideas? thanks
