I'm trying to get X set up on an Alpha under 3.1.
I see in the X11 README that Alpha setup is not required (nor possible)
and that TGA video hardware is the only supported video hardware. The
video card is an S3 Trio 32/64 card.
When I try startx the error output starts with:
"Getting interface configuration: Device not configured" and then
later mentions unable to get any screens.
I'm wondering if this means X won't work on my Alpha or (more likely)
I'm just doing something wrong. Any ideas?
