Hello,
After trying to upgrade a box to -current the today I ran into the following error with the new ahc code. The new kernel boots fine until the point where it should normally start checking the disks' checksums (this is a guess, the screen scrolls to fast but it's about there).
This is where I get the following error:
ahc1: PCI error Interrupt at seqaddr = 0xa
ahc1: Signal System Error Detected
ahc1: Recieved a Master Abort
ahc1: Received a Target Abort
ahc1: Signaled a Target Abort
ahc1: Data Parity Error has been reported via PERR#
ahc1: PCI error Interrupt at seqaddr = 0xb
ahc1: Signal System Error Detected
ahc1: Recieved a Master Abort
ahc1: Recieved a Target Abort
ahc1: Signaled a Target Abort
ahc1: Data Parity Error has been reported via PERR#
ahc1: PCI error Interrupt at seqaddr = 0x198
ahc1: Signal System Error detected
ahc1: Received a Master Abort
ahc1: Received a Target Abort
ahc1: Signaled a Target Abort
ahc1: Data Parity Error has been reported via PERR#
ahc1: PCI error Interrupt at seqaddr = 0x1a0
ahc1: Signal System Error detected
ahc1: Received a Master Abort
ahc1: Recieved a Target Abort
ahc1: Signaled a Target Abort
ahc1: Data Parity Error has been reported via PERR#
After this the console is dead and I can't scroll back up to see where exactly this happened. The code is just cvs'ed and fails with the same error message with a custom kernel as well with GENERIC. The system config is shown in the dmesg below from an older kernel with which it ran happily. Of note are 4 SCSI HDDs & the Adaptec 2940U2W. I can't play with the system any more today because it isn't mine.
