Any word on when we might have a more native JDK for our favorite OS?
I am very excited about the native JDK for FreeBSD. I assume it will
run in the compatibility mode, but maybe if the FreeBSD team can get
Sun to somehow license it, OpenBSD could do the same? OpenBSD is
mainly used for servers and a lot of server apps are moving from
CGI/Apache to Servlets in Java so this would be a major win for
OpenBSD. Btw, if you are a web developer and you haven't checked out
Tomcat yet, you should really have a look at it. It's pretty cool
once you get past the configuration strugles.
