same old make build error

Why is it that I still get:
===> usr.bin/httpd
make: don't know hot to make clean. Stop in /usr/src/usr.sbin/httpd.
*** Error Code 2

Stop in /usr/src/usr.sbin/httpd (line 612 of Makefile.bsd.wrapper).
*** Error Code 1

Stop in /usr/src/usr.sbin.
*** Error Code 1

Stop in /usr/src.
*** Error Code 1

Stop in /usr/src/ (line 79 of Makefile).

I remember getting this error in like 2.8 or something, why is it still
arround?
