Greetings,
I'm trying to update my 3.0 box to the -stable branch. Pulled down
the -stable source tree this afternoon, and proceeded to try to build
a new GENERIC kernel from those sources as per the instructions.
However, I'm getting the following error during 'make depend'
(lines broken up and indented by me for readability):
mkdir -p /usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC/lib/kern
depending the kern library objects
depending the compat library objects
sh /usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC/../../../../kern/genassym.sh

Stop in /usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC (line 620 of Makefile).
I didn't see anything in the bug tracking system about this, and my
awk knowledge is woefully rusty, so I'm not sure what's up here.
Anyone have a hint as to what's going on and how to fix this?
Thanks much.
Brian
