upgrade 2.9-stable -> 3.0

Hiya,

I'm trying to upgrade 2.9-stable -> 3.0. Previously I've managed to upgrade 2.9 to 2.9-stable by downloading source via CVS, but I don't have any experience (yet) in upgrading from one release to another.

I seem to have some difficulty fetching 3.0 sources,

# cvs get -PA src

gives me the following output :

cvs checkout: in directory src/usr.bin/ssh:
cvs checkout: ignoring CVS/Root because it specifies a non-existent repository /
cvs
cvs checkout: in directory src/usr.bin/ssh:
cvs checkout: ignoring CVS/Root because it specifies a non-existent repository /
cvs

[*snipped quite a few messages similar to the ones above*]

? src/usr.bin/ssh/cli.c
? src/usr.bin/ssh/cli.h
? src/usr.bin/ssh/nchan.h
? src/usr.bin/ssh/scp-common.c
? src/usr.bin/ssh/scp-common.h
? src/usr.bin/ssh/readpassphrase.h
? src/usr.bin/ssh/readpassphrase.c
cvs server: existing repository /cvs/CVSROOT/Emptydir does not match /cvs/src
cvs server: ignoring module src

and then it seems to stop.

Please excuse me if I've missed something glaringly obvious, I'm a OpenBSD newbie, and thanks to the excellent documentation and mailing list archives, this is the first time I've had to post.

Also, is there a 3.0-stable branch yet? If so, am I able to upgrade from 2.9-stable to 3.0-stable directly?

Thanks in advance for any pointers,

JOON
