RE: nic naming confusion

I should imagine that you have put in 2 different brands of nics. *BSD
doesnt use 1 name for all network cards, fxp* i believe are intel nics, rl*
are tulip based ones?

there wont be a problem. you havent done anything wrong.
just configure them as need be substituting the relevant interface name
where need be.

Subject: nic naming confusion

I am kindda new to this list as well as to oBSD.
I am setting up an oBSD firewall so I put 2 nics it the computer.
Upon install I noticed that the first one is called fxp0 (that's ok) and
the second one is called rl0.
Why? Why is it not fxp1? What is rl0? What am I doing wrong?
