Hello,
Looking into a way to take bit of load of the cvs servers I wanted to
set up my own mirror. So after reading
http://badlands.rug.ac.be/anoncvs.html#MIRROR it stated that I should
use either anoncvs.usa.openbsd.org or anoncvs1.usa.openbsd.org to fetch
a copy of the complete cvs repo. A quick nslookup and whois confirmed
that these servers' ip addresses indeed belonged to USA residents and
are most likely situated in the USA as well.
Does this pose a problem regarding to the limitations of exporting
cryptographic works from the USA or do these laws have no effect / have
been changed?
thx
(this had preciously been send to the wrong openbsd list)
