again problems with mouse...
running startx it says:
bla bla bla
(**) Option "Protocol" "wsmouse"
(**) Mouse1: Protocol: wsmouse
(**) Option "CorePointer"
(**) Mouse1: Core Pointer
(**) Option "Device" "/dev/wsmouse"
(EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/wsmouse
Device busy.
(EE) Mouse1: cannot open input device
(EE) PreInit failed for input device "Mouse1"
(II) UnloadModule: "mouse"
(II) Keyboard "Keyboard1" handled by legacy driver
(WW) No core pointer registered
No core pointer
Fatal server error:
failed to initialize core devices
In my XF86Config file I wrote:
# **********************************************************************
# Core Pointer's InputDevice section
# **********************************************************************
Section "InputDevice"
# Identifier and driver
Identifier "Mouse1"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "wsmouse"
Option "Device" "/dev/wsmouse"
EndSection
I don't know what to do... upgradinig from 2.8 I had to change
the device 'mouse' to 'wsmouse' so I finally got mouse at prompt (tnk
for this to Dan Weeks) but now?
tnk,
luca
