  Apologize in advance if this is a obtuse ?n .. But 
why are gui's important at all for making administrators?
IMHO the abstraction and distractions :-/ it provides 
really does not create  empower the admin to admin..
or does it? Since it one wanted to have gui's wouldn't 
we al live in a m$ world:-) So if it is not provided 
it does not happen or exist? Just curious & well uninformed 
i suppose. Not trying to make it a non gui universe but simply 
don't see how this really helps make a intuitive admin..
