No, but you are babbling. Rotational speed is not a unit of heat
output, and there is no general proportionality. I don't know
whether the SS5 has a specified maximal wattage for internal drives,
and finding reasonable figues for the drives themselves is another
problem, but I'm rather confident that, say, a 5400rpm IBM 0664
will be far hotter than any current 7200rpm drive.
