Hello,
I am unable to install OpenBSD 2.9 on our new server. After asking for
the root disk and wether to use all of the disk, the kernel reports:
pciide:0:0 bus-master DMA error, missing interrupt, status=0x20
and the install program then hangs.
This is a 1.33 GHz Athlon machine w/ a Gigabyte GA-7ZXR Rev. 3.X board
and i am trying to install on a 20 GB IDE disk.
I searched the archives for this problem, but only found a message from
someone who had this problem on first boot after install. But he didn't
get any reply.
Can I use the kernel config option (boot -c) to switch to a lower DMA
mode? How is this done?
Thanks for any help
