Avifile for openbsd

Hi

I have been trying to compile avifile (http://divx.euro.ru) for a while on
openbsd with no luck, freebsd and netbsd has a package with avifile so it should
not be not so big problem to make a package for openbsd? But with my pore C
experince and experince with compilers its pretty hard. Is any one willing to
look at avifile or maybe help me with the errors that comes up when it compiles?
Should I try the patches that freebsd and netbsd uses or is it to big
difference?
