how to debug a FreeBSD binary error on OpenBSD?

When a FreeBSD binary I'm trying to run on OpenBSD just gives an "Abort 
trap" error, where would you look next to debug it?

(Yes I have FreeBSD compatibility in my kernel.)


FYI:
It's the Linkpoint PHP wrapper.  Labeled as for FreeBSD.
So that you can accept creditcard payments directly.

They've also got binaries for BSDI, Linux, Sun, and HPUX.
Anyone have better luck in general with another OS's binaries?
