I use http://www.dyn.ca for this. They no longer have an automated
signup process for getting an account but a quick email to the owner
and he'll set one up for you.
For automatically updating my dynamic dns everytime my wireless mode
dials in I use the perl script located at:
http://www.dyn.ca/files/dynclient.tgz
Simply run it once from comman line to setup your username/password
info and from there you can add it to the end of /etc/ppp/ppp.linkup
like so:
ricochet:
! sh -c "/sbin/ipnat -CF -f /etc/ipnat.rules"
!bg /usr/local/sbin/gdipc.pl
