problems with w,who and finger after 2.8->2.9

Hi!


Today I did and upgrade from 2.8 to 2.9. I updated etc and did MAKEDEV.
The problem is that when I use w, who or finger they all show that there is
nobody logged in. 

What have I forgotten about ?
