I agree. I think that if you start out with proven hardware and a
rock-solid OS like OpenBSD, there is no reason why it couldnt have an
uptime of three years or more. For me, I have had plenty of
experience with ASUS motherboards, AMD CPUs, and IBM disks, and I've
had some that have only gone down for an occasional power outage
(maybe once a year). And that was with Linux, and I think OpenBSD is
more stable than that.
