I recently installed PostgreSQL 7.0.1 package in 2.8 and since I can no
longer use up-arrow to retreive/edit previous commands in psql, it appears
that's because 'readline' option isn't enabled? Last year, I installed
PostgreSQL 6.5.3 on OpenBSD 2.6 and it had 'readline' included.
Even if I'm off base as to the source of my problem:
Is there a way to confirm installation options in a package before/after
installing it?
Who decides which options are included when a package is created?
Frank
