I've got a Sun Blade 100 with the Sun PCi card installed. The network
card in the Sun PCi is an SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet card. One drawback to
the networking on the Sun PCi card appears to be it's MAC address of
00-00-00-00-00-00. My dilemma is that with 2.7-patch I had no arp
problems. The Sun PCi card is at 192.168.1.10 and my ipf/nat box is at
192.168.1.1. With 2.7-patch I would see somthing similar to this:
oats.2fortheroad.net (192.168.1.10) at 00:00:00:00:00:00
But with -current I get nothing in arp and obviously no communication
Is there anything I can do to use this non-standard setup with 2.9 or
-current? I've currently got one box with 2.7-patch and one with
-current. I'd like to upgrade the other box but I can't unless I know 2.9
will work with this 0 max address.
