Hi there,

so, I've figured with my trashy vr NICs I can't set the MTU as an
ifconfig parameter - thus the question: Doesn anybody know any NIC
whose driver does support it...? 

I have a couple of 3Com NICs left which I could use, but couldn't find a
hint in the xl driver manpage whether the MTU/MSS size is adjustable.  

Any hints welcome,
