Need to add, both boxes are using the same intel pro/100 cards to
talk to a 100BaseTX hub.

Checked both. In fact, did a ifconfig fxp0 media 100baseTX on
both. Same results. P233 ftp from P75, fast, at 1.5Mb/sec. P75 ftp from
P233, SLOW, at 7.5kb/sec.

Would appreciate any help in solving this mystery as I'm wanting to
migrate my stuff from the p75 to the p233 (physical box has more room, the
p75's making strange noises, etc :))

Forced both to have the same settings, still fast one way, slow the
other 8-(
