I just found out that Network Solutions has
transferred DNS for a domain I'm hosting to my server,
and I want to make sure I have everything set up OK
(so far the domain, www.heartofcolorado.com, doesn't
pop up, but I'm sure that's just a cacheing issue), as
it is a business domain.
Assuming this info in /etc/tinydns/root/data:
.heartofcolorado.com:209.190.205.236:a:259200
.205.190.209.in-addr.arpa:209.190.205.236:a:259200
+a.ns.heartofcolorado.com:209.190.205.236:86400
+b.ns.heartofcolorado.com:209.190.205.236:86400
=www.heartofcolorado.com:209.190.205.236:86400
@heartofcolorado.com:209.190.205.236:a::86400
And assuming that I've got a DSL connection whose
current IP nslookup's to
ec.cdbed1.client.atlantech.net (my gateway, most
likely), should I be ready to roll? If not, what would
I need to change? BTW, the last two domains are
personal domains I'm running.
Thanks,
Alex Le Fevre
