QNX is a real time operating system mostly designed (primarily) for embedded
use. Check out http://www.qnx.com/. QNX has POSIX utilities and uses, I
beleive, GNU development tools. So, it's not "UNIX", but it has some
similar tools and utilities. [I don't know know if there IS a "real
UNIX"(tm) today--who owns the copyright now? Corel or someone strange like
that?]

Subject: NEWBIE QUESTION
Does anyone know if the QNX operating system is a "real" UNIX O/S, like
OpenBSD? (A buddy of mine said that I ought to learn it in addition to
OpenBSD)
