I have a soft linked directory, in a user folder
/home/5555/recv -> /home/ftprecv
(both are directories, created with ln -s )
/home/ftprecv has mode 333 (write and execute) and is
owned by root. (want to make it a drop box)
in shell, I can (as user 5555) do:
touch /home/5555/recv/foo
and /home/ftprecv/foo is created
however, when I login using ftp (as user 5555, and to
127.0.0.1(loopback)) and try to put a file into
recv/foo I get a creation error, and when I try to cd
into recv, it tells me that it is not a directory.
5555 is in the /etc/ftpchroot file to set /home/5555
to / when he's in ftp.
