I'm new to OpenBSD, and I'm attempting to setup Mailman 2.0 on OpenBSD
2.8. In order to function properly, Mailman must know the group that can
be used to run scripts via the mail wrapper (configure option
--with-mail-gid). Under linux, I've found this in the sendmail.cf file
(the DefaultUser option), but this is commented out in the default OpenBSD
installation. The commented-out user (mailnull) doesn't appear to be a
valid user/group. Sendmail appears to be running under the root user, but
before I used that, I thought I'd double check.
Based on the archives, it seems others have setup Mailman
successfully. What configure options did you use?
Thanks very much in advance!
