|compile the source for it. I did not install any compilers when I did the
|install. I check the faqs and stuff and I thought I had it with the
pkg_add
|but the documentation says that it can not be used for installing system
|distribution packages.
Is qmail not the program that has the weird licensing scheme whereby you
may only install binary versions, the source isn't distributed?
Otherwise, why don't you take a look at postfix, which is designed to be a
much closer sendmail drop-in replacement.
