Re: 2.7 i386 NFS install: success with FTP

I've solved the NFS problem by using FTP. Which works. Unlike NFS. Is
there any known incompatibility between Linux (Suse) NFS servers and
OpenBsd 2.7 kernel nfs clients ? Is the compatibility better with
Slackware Linux ?

The NFS mount errors ranged from 'nfs not supported by kernel' to RPC
timeouts (protocol not registered). The server registered mount attempts
in the logs and even showmount showed it mounted but the openbsd mount
command hanged every time (exitable with ^C) and gave RPC timeout
